j3 Technology is a supporter of the XBRL community and believes it is important to share core technology to the community to develop and promote XBRL.

In this spirit j3 has been working with other key developers in the community to deliver an opensource API set for working with XBRL. The aim is to have a compatible Java and .NET frameworks to be available. Its is our opinion that the need for robust API set for XBRL under the .NET is overwhelming
